Have you ever looked at someone and wondered what is going on inside his or her head? Disney Pixar's new movie Inside Out takes you there to find out. The movie centers on Riley, 11, who has just moved to a new city and started a new school. Inside her mind, also known as “headquarters,” there is a control center where five emotions—Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness—are hard at work. Joy’s mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear controls safety, Anger makes sure all is fair, and Disgust keeps Riley from getting poisoned—both physically and socially. Sadness isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and neither is anyone else. While Riley is trying to adjust to her new environment, Joy and Sadness are accidently swept into the back of Riley’s mind. That leaves Fear, Anger, and Disgust in charge.
